Our Broodmares

The selection of broodmares requires a precise combination of physical, psychological, and genetic evaluations a skill we have perfected through decades of experience in the industry.

Our breeding program features high-pedigree Quarter Horses (all provided with official papers). Our selection includes regional and national champions in Reining, Cutting, and Performance categories.

The Quarter Horse is an American breed originating from crosses between Mustangs and Thoroughbreds, selected in the 19th century by cowboys for cattle work. The breed owes its name to being the fastest over the "quarter-mile" (while Thoroughbreds remain faster over longer distances).

The Quarter Horse is incredibly versatile, excelling in everything from ranch work to numerous competitive disciplines: Reining, Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Ranch Sorting, Team Penning, Pole Bending, Cutting, and Roping. Its docile and intelligent nature also makes it perfect for riding schools, trail riding, and hippotherapy.

These horses possess what Americans call a "good mind" a blend of intelligence, a willingness to learn, a great temperament, consistency, and reliability. They are always attentive to the rider's cues and, when in perfect harmony, can be spirited and playful.

Quarter Horses do not have a single "breed standard," as there are significant differences between racing, working, and showing types. To this day, the Quarter Horse Studbook remains open to infusions from Thoroughbreds, Arabians, Paint Horses, and Appaloosas, demonstrating the ongoing global interest in evolving this extraordinary breed.
